TLI Relay Assistant Software installed

 

 

 

Goal

Serving both education and research purposes, Power Engineering Lab provides the students and trainees with hands-on experience in power engineering.

The lab is equiped with computers, various protective relays and relay testing equipment:

  • 17 Dell computers
  • 2 digital simulators: PC, Communication board, CYTEN I/O Box, TECHRON amplifier cabinet
  • Relay testing equipment: AVO test set, GPIB board
  • 6 EDISON-PRO programmable relays
  • 25 SEL computer relays (5xSEL-421, 16xSEL-551,1xSEL-351,1xSEL-321,1xSEL-587,1xSEL-AMS)
  • 2 GE computer relays (D60, DFP200)
  • 3 BPA electromechnial relays

    The most widely used professional software on power system analysis and power electronic simulation has been installed:

  • PTI PSS/E 27.0
  • Eurostag 4.2
  • PSCAD/EMTDC 3.0
  • TLI Relay Assistant 2005

    All users of the lab must read and sign the document Computer policies and procedures describing software and hardware allocation in the lab, schedule of the courses, procedures for data backup, disaster recovery, user account and computer usage policies.
